Industrial Modernization Sprint
Modernize one software component around your industrial operations. Protect existing behavior while improving maintainability, diagnostics, and the release path.
Industrial software owners with a constrained modernization backlog
Production software depends on a fragile, aging component.
Changes are hard to test outside the line.
The team needs useful improvements without a big-bang replacement.

A practical guide
Industrial software often carries years of process knowledge in its interfaces, timing, and recovery behavior. Modernization becomes manageable when you choose a clear boundary and define what must remain true. Start with one component or a bounded production workflow.
Begin by mapping the component’s connections. Include controllers, databases, files, other applications, and the people who operate it. Record startup, shutdown, timing, and installation constraints. Identify the business and process rules that must survive the change.
Capture a baseline in an agreed validation environment. Preserve representative inputs, outputs, and diagnostic information. Include interrupted communication and recovery, not just normal completion. Convert the most important examples into repeatable checks that can be run against both versions.
Choose one improvement with a clear boundary. It may be a framework upgrade, a better separation of domain logic, or replacement of a difficult dependency. Define the interface the rest of the system will continue to see and write down any deliberate behavior change.
Implement and compare the slice against the baseline. Investigate differences with the process owner instead of assuming the new behavior is better. Use simulated or controlled operating conditions to exercise failure states and confirm that diagnostics remain useful.
Prepare a staged release and recovery plan with the production owner. Establish who checks the result, what would trigger a stop, and how the previous operating state can be recovered. Keep the comparison evidence and operating instructions with the released version.
Our industrial and pharma software experience, including work in GEA and IBA environments, informs this approach to continuity. We combine that context with .NET architecture, interface design, and testing. Existing behavior is examined as part of the process contract, especially when the surrounding equipment is staying in place.
We baseline the agreed component, modernize a bounded slice, and review the regression evidence with the people responsible for the process. The final plan covers deployment, diagnosis, and recovery as well as code. This gives the software team a change it can explain and maintain.
We use the .NET development tools, repository history, SQL diagnostics, and the existing controller or integration test facilities. xUnit can protect domain behavior and interface assumptions. The established delivery pipeline packages the approved application version and its configuration instructions.
In SDD, Specs Driven Development, the original requirements and interface specifications connect to the modernization tasks and regression scenarios. We record deliberate changes and observed results there so reviewers can follow the reasoning from the process need to the proposed release.

A few useful answers
The package is deliberately bounded to a component or workflow. We identify dependencies first and agree how the new slice will coexist with the rest of the system.
The indicative estimate starts at €12,500, excluding VAT, for the stated package boundary. After a fit conversation, you receive a fixed quote with the exact deliverables, fee, and schedule. Work starts after acceptance; changes are quoted separately.
You receive the working files, findings, and a handover session. Your team can take the next steps, or we can scope a follow-on engagement together.
